Satellite Party announce New York show

Perry Farrell's band Satellite Party have announced a show at brand new New York venue Highline Ballroom next month,

The show will support the release of the band's debut album 'Ultra Payloaded' which will hit shelves on May 29.

Satellite Party features ex-Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt with Kevin Figueiredo on drums, Etty Lau Farrell on background vocals and Carl Restivo on bass.

As previously reported here, guests on the album include Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea and John Frusciante, New Order/ Joy Division bassist Peter Hook and Fergie.

Satellite Party play Highline Ballroom on June 4. Os Mutantes announce US dates

Os Mutantes have announced that they will play a handful of dates in the US this summer.

This is only the second time that the legendary Brazilians have ever performed on US soil.

Os Mutantes will kick things off in Chicago on July 11, and will then hit Los Angeles and San Francisco before playing their final night at the Lincoln Center Festival in New York on July 17.

The band are known for influencing musicians as diverse as David Byrne, Beck, and Kurt Cobain, who personally requested that the band to reunite to tour with Nirvana in 1993.

The tour dates are:
